Satisfaction Guarantee & Returns Policy

1. 100% Craftsmanship Assurance

At DETAILED FINISH LIMITED, we stand behind the precision and durability of every treatment. Prior to releasing your vehicle, our senior detailers perform a joint walkthrough under calibrated 5000K CRI inspection lighting to verify that all agreed work order specifications have been fulfilled.

2. 48-Hour Complimentary Rework Window

Because automotive clear coats reflect natural sunlight differently from artificial workshop lighting, we provide a 48-hour warranty window post-collection:

• If you observe any missed panel edge, compound residue, or high spot under direct sunlight within 48 hours, notify us immediately.
• We will schedule a priority touch-up session at our Dairy Flat studio to rectify the area at zero additional charge.

3. Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Notice of 48 Hours or More: 100% refund of any deposit paid, or seamless transfer to a new date with zero penalty.
• Notice of 24 to 48 Hours: Deposit credited towards a rescheduled date within 6 months.
• Notice Under 24 Hours: Deposit retained to cover technician staging and bay reservation expenses.

4. Physical Aftercare Products Return Terms

For unopened ceramic wash maintenance shampoos, microfiber accessories, or coating booster bottles purchased from our studio:

• Unopened items in original packaging may be returned within 14 calendar days of receipt for an exchange or full refund.
• Return freight for change-of-mind purchases is the responsibility of the client. Defective products are replaced immediately under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
